About:
I host a bluegrass radio show on the weekends called The Bluegrass Gospel Hour on 96.1 FM and 98.1 FM in the Mid-Ohio Valley area and around the world on www.praisefm.net . My show is every Saturday and Sunday nights at 10 PM ET and I'd be honored if you could stop by and hear a show but if you can't, I have some archived on my website, www.smokingbluegrass.com . You can hear these anytime and I'd be honored to have you as a guest.

If you play bluegrass, I'd love to play your music on my show. I love playing music from bands who may not be known by everyone. There is a ton of great music that gets played on weekends and I would be thrilled to share it with everyone. We are in a small market for our radio station but with my shows archived on my personal website I am getting between 1,000 and 1,5000 visitors a day to hear my show. God has blessed me with a small tool to help spread the message of Jesus Christ.

Our website is a great place to tune in to hear the shows. The sound is cd quality and is a great way to make an hour fly by at work, lol!

You can also stop by my facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Bluegrass-Gospel-Hour/17461073909... and my personal website has many of the past shows if you would like to stop by and hear them. My site is www.smokingbluegrass.com . I'd love to hear from you and I hope you have a great day.

If you have any questions please feel free to email me and thanks for stopping by,

The BGGH for Sat & Sun, April 18 & 19, 2009

I am excited about this weeks show, well kinda, lol. I had to promise my Pastor that I would play Rocky Top during one of my shows. Pastor Lands is the one who got the radio station started and he is from Knoxville and I guess you can tell where this is going. He is a hugh TN Vols fan and I am a hugh Alabama Crimson Tide fan. Rocky Top is TN football song sooooo, I just decided I couldn't play it during football season. So this week, I'm going to get it over with, lol.

I will also end the show… Continue

This week on the show I have another seven songs that I will play for the first time. They are from Paul William and his band The Victory Trio, The Lonesome River Band, Charlie Waller, The Churchmen, Dailey & Vincent, Blue Moon Rising & a gr… Continue

Howdy,
We would be honored to have our music on your show! We visited the website, and it sounds like a great ministry! How do we get started?

John,
Keep up ther great work. Our band loves doing the Gospel songs and ministering to the people about Jesus. We are hoping to cut a new all Gospel CD. We will be in Akron, Ohio next Jan. God Bless

Are you interested in helping to spread the word about our camp? We are a fairly young organization and need some help in increasing our registration numbers. This camp is a fantastic opportunity for people who live in the Midwest, or those who visit Door County.
Would it be possible to mention us on your show? The Bluegrass Gospel Hour sounds great and we don't really have many bluegrass shows broadcast in our area
Let me know if you are interested or have any ideas for us! Thanks!
